Karen Scholl
Board of Trustees member
Karen Scholl was appointed to the Board in January 2010.
As Creative Director for the digital marketing agency Resource Interactive,
where she has worked since 1999, Karen has led creative teams on multi-faceted
projects for brands including Coca-Cola, Gain laundry detergent and Scotts
Miracle-Gro, and written copy for Restoration Hardware, Wendy’s and Procter
& Gamble, as well as others. As a writer and professional marketer she has collaborated
across disciplines to develop on-brand digital experiences.
Karen was an adjunct professor at Columbus College of Art
& Design where she developed a curriculum and taught, plus she writes
whenever she can, including articles for several trade publications.
Karen has lived in Westerville since 2002. Libraries have played a big role in her
life—as a child, student, adult and parent. She believes that the only thing better than reading a great
book is sharing that book with someone else. As a Board member, she hopes to support the Library by
applying some of her skills and passions to help share more books and other
resources with more people.
